Dr. Azim is the Professor and Dean of Biosciences at MAJU a premier Pakistani university. He was head of Genomic institute at the University of Karachi where he was instrumental in sequencing the first human whole-genome project in Pakistan. He is also the founder of Gene Janch Center a renowned player in sequencing services.

Dr. Bukhari brings long clinical, technical, and commercial experience to the company. After graduating from medical school in Pakistan he was trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Univ of California and later worked as a scientist in Illumina’s Translational and Consumer Genomics group. He founded VitranDx in the US to commercialize his scientific discoveries in kidney disorders. He led the diagnostic division of a large biopharma company in Pakistan before founding Bukhari Genomics.
Dr. Hassan is a clinical pathologist and brings in-depth expertise in laboratory medicine and relevant regulations, and molecular pathology. She is the Chief Medical Officer and laboratory director. She played an important role in the renewal of CAP accreditation while at Aga Khan University Hospital.
